DrinkWise Australia Limited (ACN 112 783 114) (DrinkWise, we, us and our) is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we collect and manage personal information and how to contact us if you have any queries about our management of your personal information.
What is personal information?
“Personal information” is information or an opinion, in any form and whether true or not, about an identified individual or an individual who is reasonably identifiable. Examples include an individual’s name, address, contact number and email address.

The kinds of personal information we collect and hold about you depends on the nature of your dealings with us and the circumstances of collection. This includes whether we collect the information from you as a user of our education tools or resources, a recipient of our updates, a supplier, a stakeholder (government, police, academia, community and sporting organisations and industry), a job applicant or in some other capacity.

If you are or have been an employee of DrinkWise, the handling of your personal information may be exempt from the Australian Privacy Principles if it is directly related to your current or former employment relationship with us.

- when you request our education tools or resources or if you are a partner or contact that has requested or agreed to receive updates about DrinkWise activities.

While DrinkWise IT service providers are located within Australia, some sub-contracted services may be located outside Australia and, as a result, personal information collected and held by us may be disclosed to recipients in other countries. In particular, our data may be stored by our IT service providers in other countries in the Asia Pacific region.
How we hold personal information and quality and security of personal information
We generally hold personal information in computer systems, including computer systems operated for us by our service providers. We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. This includes taking appropriate security measures to protect electronic and paper materials and requiring our service providers to do so.
We take reasonable steps to ensure the personal information we collect, use and disclose is accurate, complete, up to date and relevant. We also take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify personal information when we no longer require it.

Collection of information other than personal information
Some of the information collected about your visit to our website is not personal information, because it does not reveal your identity.
